About a year ago, I discovered Substack and began to write there. 

Photographer’s Miscellany is part personal essay, part source of discoveries I want to share, and part photography workbook. Sometimes I write about travel, sometimes about aspects of professional photography, sometimes motherhood, or baking bread, or my garden, or how I like to cook, or sometimes it’s just a roundup of the latest books I’ve read. If I’m honest, I enjoy writing as much as photography.
